What you will work on

Prepare a reliable editorial specification sheet

Centralise verified features, points yet to be confirmed, and publishing authorisations. An advert must make it clear what is being offered, where the property is located at the relevant level, what is included, and what known limitations exist. Do not reuse photos without usage rights. A generated image or layout projection must be clearly presented as an illustration.

The method in practice

Structure the listing to answer decision-making questions: nature of the property, location within an explicit perimeter, surface areas with their definitions, price and included elements, condition, known charges, intended uses to be verified, and the next step. Separate observed qualities from the seller's declarations. Elegant phrasing does not compensate for the absence of a decisive piece of information. Avoid unverifiable superlatives. If data is missing, state its status and arrange to obtain it; do not silently replace it with an average.

Fictional example

For an apartment in Tétouan, distinguish between photos of the property, the available floor plan, and any layout projection. A computer-generated image does not prove delivered condition.

Images attract; verifiable information builds trust.

Write according to the reader's intended use

Organise the text around the project that the property can fulfil, followed by the features supporting that utility. Avoid universal promises and undocumented yields. Present relevant constraints before they become an unpleasant surprise during a viewing. End with a clear action: request information, check suitability, or arrange a viewing.

The method in practice

Link each piece of content to an intent: explaining a document check, preparing a viewing, comparing a total cost, or presenting a property. Then choose a corresponding action, such as requesting the floor plan or reading the full property sheet. Measure useful enquiries and next steps, not just views. Test one message variable at a time where possible and keep a change log. The workshop requires a short listing, its list of evidence, and the caption for a layout projection; proofreading verifies the consistency of these three elements.

Fictional example

“Two spaces that can suit your needs, to be inspected on site” is preferable to “perfect investment for everyone”.

An honest listing can reduce unsuitable inquiries.

Build a useful storyboard

Prepare a short sequence: set the context, show the layout and flow, document the relevant rooms, point out the limitations and explain the next steps. Take care with stability, audio and legibility. Add subtitles to make the information accessible. Do not film people or private documents without a proper framework. Aesthetic editing must maintain a faithful representation of the property's volumes and condition.

The method in practice

Visuals should help explain layout, volumes, and condition. Present layout projections as such, as closely as possible to the image. A general note at the bottom of the page might lead people to believe that the furniture or building works already exist. Retain views of the actual condition and explain what is simulated. For a video, prepare a clear walkthrough and point out any unshown spaces. Higgsfield illustrations in this academy represent imaginary settings, not available properties or market evidence.

Fictional example

Film the transitions between rooms rather than a succession of decorative close-ups that obscure the layout.

A good video should help prepare for a real viewing.

Your practical application work

Prepare a dummy listing and a storyboard for an apartment in Tetouan. You have authorised photos available; service charges remain to be confirmed.
